This metal sculpture reflects the state of the world in a time of profound transformation, with the “globe” at its center symbolizing humanity’s shared burden of both crisis and hope. The interconnected stainless-steel structure suggests the enduring relationship between humans and the Earth, while perforated metal panels create openings that reveal the “stories” of Phuket—its history, culture, and spiritual identity.

The silver surface evokes the island’s legacy of tin mining, once a vital resource of Phuket, while the sail-like form within the work represents a journey that deeply and contemporarily connects the wider world with the cultural roots of this historic port city.
