Born in Tha Yu District, Phang Nga Province, Peerapon Boonliang pursued his early art studies at Phuket Vocational College (Vocational Certificate) and later completed his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at Phuket Rajabhat University. He is currently an independent artist.
The core inspiration behind Peerapon’s artistic practice revolves around the issue of global warming. His works explore various perspectives on the changing environment, posing thought-provoking questions about how humanity can continue to coexist in a world with rising temperatures and what solutions might address these escalating challenges.
Having lived his entire life closely connected to the sea, the artist has witnessed continuous changes in marine environments that directly affect local communities.
These include the disappearance of certain marine species due to habitat loss, damage caused by careless human actions such as anchoring on coral reefs, and pollution from wastewater discharged into the ocean — all contributing to a chain reaction of environmental decline.
